“Lottie captured our wedding day so perfectly that the photos look like snap shots from my imagination in the run up to the day. I cried when I saw them and I still haven’t been able to choose my favourite one-hundred for an album. Neither I, nor my husband are very comfortable posing for staged photos and so we requested that Lottie take mainly candid photos throughout the day which she did brilliantly. We were so relaxed and comfortable around her that we honestly didn’t realise she was taking most of the shots. The vicar also commented on how subtle she was during the church service and we didn’t even see her but some of my favourite photos are from this. She had some great ideas for shots but she wasn’t pushy at all and she really listened to us and understood how important it was for us to just let our day flow naturally. This flexibility on her part was wonderful as it meant we enjoyed every second without having to relive moments just for the camera. Lottie let us dictate the day which is what we wanted but when we did do a few staged shots they still looked beautifully natural as we were so comfortable. It really showed that she was just as good at directing us for shots as she was blending in to the background. We would recommend Lottie to anyone that asked and even those that didn’t. As well as being a very talented photographer she is also one of the most caring and fun people I’ve ever met. What more could you ask for in what is essentially an extra guest on one of the most memorable days of your life?
